About The Retreat

I’m Denise Michelle. My journey began over 24 years ago when I was diagnosed with Borderline
Personality Disorder. That moment cracked me open. Along the way, I faced depression, anxiety,
addiction, abuse, PTSD, bankruptcy—and in 2020, I lost five family members, including my mom. But
through it all, I discovered the power of SelfLove. I realized that success or failure isn’t about what
happens to us—it’s about what we choose to do with it. That choice is where your power lives. And I’ve
made it my life’s mission to help others reclaim theirs.

 I was healing from a less-than-ideal childhood and the heavy weight of emotional trauma
—sexual abuse, domestic violence, mental illness, and deep loss. For years, I struggled with
suicidal depression and addiction. But I learned that healing is possible, not by running
from your pain, but by meeting it with compassion. SelfLove became my path to not just
survive—but to thrive. And I want others to know that’s possible for them, too.

Beyond my professional training in transformational coaching, the healing arts, subconscious reprogramming and deep spiritual practice, I carry over
20 years of lived experience. I’ve walked through darkness, and I’ve come out the other side with
tools, wisdom, and compassion. I know what it means to rebuild from rock bottom. That’s what
shapes the way I hold space—it’s not just education, it’s embodiment. I don’t lead from theory—I
lead from truth.

 My healing taught me that every moment—no matter how painful—has a gift hidden
beneath the surface. I don’t see people as broken; I see them as powerful beings learning
how to come home to themselves. I guide from a place of deep empathy, because I’ve been
there. And I hold space with the knowing that healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about
courage, choice, and connection.

 At the heart of the Meet Yourself Retreat is a course I’ve spent years developing through my own healing journey
— it’s a powerful blend of self-inquiry, emotional release, and nervous system support, all rooted in SelfLove
Mastery.
We’ll explore the deep layers of who you are beneath the roles, the responsibilities, and the survival strategies.
This course is about guiding you back to your truth — not just intellectually, but emotionally and spiritually.
Through guided sessions, somatic practices, journaling, and connection work, you’ll begin to rewrite old narratives,
reconnect to your inner wisdom, and build a loving relationship with yourself — the one that changes everything

So many of us are walking around seeking love, acceptance, or validation from outside of ourselves… but

When I began truly loving myself — not just saying the words, but actually living it — my whole life

 There are four main phases we’ll move through together:
1. Awareness – Recognizing the patterns, pain, and protective mechanisms you’ve been holding onto.
2. Acceptance – Learning how to sit with those parts of yourself with compassion and curiosity.
3. Healing – Releasing stored trauma, rewriting old stories, and integrating new tools.
4. Empowerment – Stepping into the truth of who you are and how you want to live moving forward.
Each phase is intentional and builds toward lasting inner transformation.

That’s why we begin with awareness: to create a grounded space to witness your truth. Once we’ve seen

4. Inspired Action – creating aligned intentions and simple steps to bring that vision to life.

 A typical day at the retreat is a sacred rhythm of returning to yourself.
We begin with gentle grounding — breathwork, meditation, or movement to connect with the body and heart. Then we
move into core sessions where we explore deeper themes: self-love, emotional release, and conscious selfawareness.
After lunch, there’s space for integration. You may journal by the ocean, reflect quietly, or connect in small group
shares. We also have guided vision work, somatic practices, and energy healing woven throughout.
We close each day with evening rituals — sometimes it’s sound healing, sometimes it’s a release ceremony under the

My mission is to uplift and inspire you to own every part of your story, allowing you to live authentically and courageously pursue your dreams.

Yes absolutely, this retreat and integration program are designed to support all levels.

We are capping it at 15 people to keep the container small so Denise Michelle can also have space to connect 1:1 with each person. 

You may hold your space at the link provided with a 20% non-refundable deposit.

We have 2 options:
Double Rooms and Single Rooms. 
There are 4 Single rooms available and they have River View at Solana and Ocean View at Shambala.

Yes transfers are included:
– DPS Airport to Ubud
– Ubud to Shambala
– Shambala to DPS Airport

The first location,  Solana, is in Ubud
The second location, Shambala, is in Buleleng (2.5 hours North of Ubud)

– Solana is about 20 minutes (depending on traffic) to Ubud Center where you will have free time to hang out, shop and check out the town. There is a walking path from the venue down to the river, which you will be shown once you arrive. 
– Shambala is located on the beach for easy and fast access. 
Please note: You will want to do your shopping in Ubud as Shambala is more remote and in nature. 

Yes absolutely!
You will be encouraged to put your phone away during workshops, yoga/pilates and 1/2 of silence.

No. This retreat is set up to be reset and recharge your system. You will be provided with nourishing drinks, foods, juices.
Coffee and tea will be provided.

Yes, once you send in your deposit to hold your space, you will be provided with a google form for Denise Michelle to share with the venues any special dietary  needs. (i.e. Gluten free, dairy free, allergies, etc.)

Yes, participants must be at least 18 years old, 16 -17 years old must accompanied by a parent or guardian.
